I have been a runner for a year, and across that time I have learnt a lot about myself and the kit to use.
So I thought I would give some insight into my favourite running leggings.
One of the first pieces of kit I bought was a running belt – I never leave the house without my phone, my Vaseline, asthma inhaler and keys (and if it’s a particularly long run, a few sweets). So I needed something to carry this all in.
Although a running belt can be so useful, it can also be a little uncomfortable, and this leads me on to the trend within my three favourite running leggings…. pockets!!
This review is in no particular order, my three favourite leggings are:
1. Lululemon Fast and Free High Waisted
These are designed by Lululemon to make you feel like you are wearing a second skin, or as they state on the website, a naked sensation!!

The best part of these leggings for me is the side pocket, meaning I can fit my phone in it and my Vaseline. The leggings stay up throughout any length run and have an endless drawstring around the waist to ensure there is no slippage.

They also have reflective dots at the bottom of the leg, which is great for night time running (especially in the winter!!). I love Lululemon leggings but I know they are expensive. I was kindly gifted these for the Royal Parks Half Marathon but I have also bought lots, and would live and die in them if I could.
These Gymshark leggings were made to move from commuting, to work, to working out with ease. I absolutely love them due to the amount of pockets, zipped and non zipped.

Gymshark have a whole Non Stop range – I also have the cropped jacket and bra top (see in the top photo). It means you can take everything with you and don’t need a running belt. These leggings are really comfortable and don’t fall down.

3. Sweaty Betty Power Leggings
Sweaty Betty Power leggings come in many different colours and prints. Sweaty Betty release different types at least twice a year. I actually have two pairs, the ones pictured below and a grey and black pattered pair.

Again these are really comfortable and have a never ending drawstring to ensure they don’t fall down.
They also have a side pocket for my phone and a zip pocket on the back for keys.

These three styles of leggings are no doubt my favourite to run in. I will keep this blog updated if new leggings come on to the market, that I fall in love with.
Please comment below if you have any favourites I have missed and need to try!!
To note: my favourite colour of leggings is black. All these leggings come in other colour ways.
