Gluten Free Wizard Afternoon Tea: Georgian House

Firstly I would like to start off by stating how brilliant the Georgian House are with allergies and intolerances. I have been three times now and every time they have created a dreamy afternoon tea for my low Fodmap needs. If you have any allergy or intolerance, this afternoon tea is for you.

When I have been previously to the Georgian House, it was for the cheese afternoon tea (which they can do gluten free, dairy free and vegan!!!) but this time I was going for the Wizard afternoon tea.

Mr FFL and I started with a potions class, to create our own cocktail, which was lots of fun!! We had 8 test tubes, a tray of extras and a recipe. The cocktail was delicious and such an interesting conception.

We were then moved into a different room for the main event. The afternoon tea was split into three sections, sandwiches, scones and cakes.

My sandwiches were all gluten free and low Fodmap. There was a smoked salmon sandwich with caviar, a beef wrap, an inside out cucumber sandwich, an amazing cheese and tomato chutney tart and a egg mayo mini pancake stack. They were all delicious!

Next up were the scones, a classic and a raisin scone, accompanied by clotted cream, Jam and jam with popping candy (A winner in my eyes!!). All gluten free of course.

The third course were the gluten free cakes – everyone’s favourite! My favourite was the chocolate wizard hat lolly and the raspberry and mascarpone pot. They were all gorgeous.

Mr FFL had the gluten full afternoon and he really enjoyed himself. In his own words, ‘it was brilliant’. The staff at the Georgian House are all so accommodating and the service is perfect.

*To note the Georgian House invited me down for this Wizard afternoon tea but all the views are my own.
