When I saw Women’s Health advertise their first Fit Night Out, I couldn’t help but think this is the perfect event for me!!
My friend Yvonne and I signed up for the 6pm session with Alice Liveing and the Boys of Yoga, which included a 30 mins session with both fitness leaders.
There were also sessions with Barry’s Bootcamp, Frame, Barrecore and Sweat by BXR.
Alice ran a fast paced full body session. This was broken up into two sections, with 4 exercises in each. We did 4 sets of each section.
Then a quick finisher of AMRAP (as many reps as possible) for 3 minutes, 10 burpees and a stretch. We definitely got our sweat on!!
After a 5 minute break the Boys of Yoga took over. This was an exciting class! There were around 5 instructors taking us through a very different but fun yoga class. The lead instructor created a brilliant atmosphere and got us all laughing and enjoying ourselves.
The other instructors were walking around the studio helping the rest of us out. We did a lot of work on our core.
The class ended with some relaxation and breathing.
After the fitness classes I headed straight to the braid bar to get my hair done. I just love braids!!
Yvonne and I then got to listen to and meet Montana Rose Brown, Hazel Wallace and Amy Hopkinson. The panel discussion was on how to train responsibly. Three very inspirational and gorgeous ladies!
We finished the night with some peanut butter smoothies from Pip and Nut, to give us some energy to head home.
To top the night Women’s Health provided us all with this amazing goodie bag!
